The position will be a mix of field and office work to collect and process sea country data. It will include working on the water in WA Marine Parks and include using remote techniques like cameras and drones and then processing photos and data to work out numbers of dugong, sea lions, dolphins and fish. The position is based in Perth and will include working all around WA from the Kimberley to the south coast. You would be joining a friendly team of five caring for sea country across the State.
