WAGYL KAIP SOUTHERN NOONGAR ABORIGINAL CORPORATION MEMBER DIRECTOR ELECTION NOTICE
and
CALL FOR CANDIDATES TO SEEK ELECTION
By resolution of the directors, the Wagyl Kaip Southern Noongar Aboriginal Corporation (‘WKSNAC’) (ICN 9622) is seeking experienced and skilled corporation members to be Member Directors. A ballot is scheduled to open on 1st August 2025 for four (4) Member Director Positions that are elected by the members of the Corporation.
The nomination period for the above positions will commence on 01 August 2025 and will close on 22 August 2025 at 5:00pm.
The ballot for the election will be counted on 21 November 2025 at 3:00pm, and the result announced at the WKSNAC’s AGM on 22 November 2025.
Nominations
A Nomination must include:
• A completed Wagyl Kaip Southern Noongar Aboriginal Corporation director nomination form
• Director ID number
• A cover letter addressing the selection criteria
• A current Curriculum Vitae
• Referee details
• A Candidate statement for Ballot Information material to members (Candidate Profile not exceeding 150 characters)
• A current National Police Certificate.
You must attach your National Police Certificate. As National Police Certificates (NPC) take some time to obtain, we suggest that you apply at the opening of the nomination period. Applications without a NPC will not be accepted. Please note applications can take 2-3 weeks to process. We recommend apply for your NPC as soon as possible.
Nomination forms can be obtained from the Wagyl Kaip Southern Noongar Aboriginal Corporation Office, 45-47 Serpentine Road, Albany, WA 6330 or via the Wagyl Kaip Southern Noongar Aboriginal Corporation website at wagylkaip.org.au/elections from 01 August 2025.
