Lease of land parcel
The first lease has been signed for a parcel of Cultural Land across the South West Native Title Settlement.
As part of the Settlement's Noongar Land Estate, Wagyl Kaip Southern Noongar Aboriginal Corporation has taken an interest in a 645 hectare parcel of land at Dillon Bay.
A lease between Wagyl Kaip Southern Noongar Aboriginal Corporation and the Trustee commenced 16 March 2026.
The land parcel will be used for Noongar social, cultural, and/or economic benefit. The Corporation plans to develop the land as a Noongar camping area, with basic amenities. The land will have marked walking tracks and camp sites.
